I bought a 2004 chevy silverado from medved and i feel it has a problem and gm says it's working as designed. The low beam sylvania headlight bulb in my 2001 chevrolet 2500 hd pickup truck went bad and started my under hood area of my truck on fire. Much of the underhood equipment was damaged before i could put it out. Sylvania takes no responsibility for their product and refuses to cover damages even after receiving the defective bulb and many pictures of the damage. *tr

Light bulb sockets allow slip-in type bulbs to slip out . Gm has not recalled these sockets, however they have improved the current design so as to hold the bulbs more securely. The turn signals, stop lights and tail lights ,as well as the headlights are affected by this deficiency. *tr
