Truck had hard time starting when cold for 2 weeks prior to truck not starting at all. Took truck in was told fuel pump shorted , melted wire harness and fuel pump module melted. Half of engine compartment wire harness melted also. Was told by mechanic we were very lucky that the truck did not explode. This is to cost $1800.00 in repairs. *tr

When he pulled the fuel tank from the vehicle and removed the plastic cover, he noticed that it had collapsed and split the seam open on the tank.
