The speedometer in my 2003 silverado hd crewcab 4x4 has broke. The indicator (needle) is now on the extreme right of the gauge. After doing some research i have found that this issue is common and the stepper motor will need to be replaced. To do this the entire instrument cluster may have to be replaced. *nm

I have a 2003 chev. 2500 4x4 est. Cab long box. It has 18000 miles on it. I had to replace the rear brakes and rotors at 18000 miles. This is unacceptable for a truck of this type. (heavy duty).
